December and January has been a very busy time for us. We had a short cold snap in December which resulted in lots of call outs and lots of batteries to be fitted. We have also had lots of call outs with cars with blown turbos this year. I cant ever remember fitting as many. Most turbo failure is caused by poor maintenance and incorrect oils being used.
The Renault scenic was booked in for a noise on the brakes. On closer examination it was found that the brake pads had completely worn away and one was actually missing. The brake caliper piston had come out and had virtually worn through the brake disc.
